Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway has a couple of great nights of racing this upcoming weekend. Everything gets started on Friday, July 26th with the return of the Interstate Sprint Car Series as well as the IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Stock Cars. The Saturday, the 27th, will be reserved for the Rick Barnes Memorial. Classes on the card for Saturday evening include the Super Sports, IMCA Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets.

On Friday the Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 5:00, and Racing at 6:00. On Saturday the Front Gates open at 4:00 PM and Racing at starts at 5:00. Tickets both nights are $14.00 for Adults, Seniors (62+)/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, and Kids (5 or Under) FREE with a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) being offered for $35.00

The Interstate Sprint Car Series was in action at Willamette on June 15th for the only appearance so far in 2019. Shane Forte was the driver to have bested the field in that race. In IMCA Modified competition Collen Winebarger and Bricen James have the most wins of the season with three apiece. Dustin Cady is a two-time winner at the 1/3-mile clay oval with Grey Ferrando, John Campos, and Kellen Chadwick all have scored a single triumph. Sean Gentry is the only multi-feature winner in the IMCA Stock Car ranks with two wins. Jerry Schram and Dakota Godard all have accomplished a single victory.

B.J. Donofrio has been quite dominant in the Super Sport ranks with seven total wins to his credit. James Slover, Randy Barley, and Doug Elkins all have managed to tame the field once. In the Sportsman division, Tom Yeack has been able to beat the competition the most with his six main event victories. Jeff Rash is the only other multi-main event winner with his two trips to victory lane. Brian Brown, Kent Emry, and Ryan Emry have gotten the job done once.

In the Street Stock ranks, Justin Evans has been the most successful driver thus far with his impressive six wins. Mikey Burnham has hit the “pay dirt” twice while Dakota Godard, Kevin Roberts, Kelly McDonald, McKenzie Lockhart, and David Cronk have lifted trophies once. The Hornets have been simply owned by Eddie Farness. Farness has accrued ten wins to his name while Ed Farness and Graig Osborne have only done so once.
