Kage Karts Return To Willamette On Friday July 12th

Lebanon, Oregon- As mentioned in a previously released story, Willamette Speedway is quite busy this week. While the 1/3-mile clay oval will feature two races in the matter of a few days the Kart track in the infield will be busy on Friday, July 12th. It will mark the third race of 2019 for the program.
Klamath Falls native Bentleigh Chapman and Emmet Lowery, from Cottage Grove, have gotten the job done one time each in the Pee Wee class. Keegan Bounds, of Cottage Grove, and Mason Meyers have thus far split the wins in the 5HP Intermediate division. Carter Patterson, of Lebanon, has beaten the competition twice in the 250cc ranks. Lastly, in the Open Kage, Eric Scofield and Brody Sim, both from Albany, have won one feature apiece.
Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 5:00, and Racing at 6:00. General Admission to watch in the grandstands is FREE. Remaining dates for the Karts include August 9th, August 23rd, September 13th, and September 20th.
