Over Sixty Races Fill 2019 Willamette Speedway Calendar

Lebanon, Oregon- As the weather starts to warm up in temperature, the 2019 racing season approaches closer and closer for Willamette Speedway. The historic 1/3-mile clay oval has a packed sixty race schedule ranging from its regular staple racing program, Kart racing, the brand-new Valley Wide UTV Shootout Series, and a handful of mid-week special events sprinkled in here and there. The whole campaign will kick off on Friday, April 12th, with the Valley Wide UTV Shootout Series, followed by the oval track Season Opener on Saturday, the 13th.
The divisions on the docket for the first round of competition on the big track, on April 13th, will consist of the Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks. Also returning is the historic Strawberry Cup weekend May 31st to June 2nd, Clair Cup weekend from May 24th to the 26th which honors the late track owner/operator Clair Arnold, and the two-night Wild West Modified Shootout speedweek closer in late June. Also listed is the Father’s Day Tuff Truck and Trash Car spectacular, Sunday, June 16th, the July 13th Shriners Night, the Rick Barnes Memorial on July 27th, the two-night IMCA Modified Nationals in mid-August, and the Labor Day weekend thriller with the coveted Iron Giant/Fall Frenzy. Don’t forget the return of the World of Outlaws Sprint Series, Speedweek Northwest featuring the Western Sprint Tour, the Wingless Sprint Series, the Big Sky Landscaping IMCA Stock Car Series, and the Interstate Sprint Car Series.
Regular events pricing is $14.00 for Adults, Seniors (62+)/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, and Kids (5 or Under) FREE. A Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) is offered for $35.00 while Pit Passes are $30.00 each. Pit Gates open at 1:00, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing at 5:00 while all Friday shows get started at 6:00. The wonderful thing about the regular events on Fridays and Sundays programs is that they are only $7.00 to get in so be sure and take advantage of the special pricing.
The facility will also be offering several practice dates all season long with special team rentals available as well. It is a perfect opportunity for teams to dial in their equipment.
