Cady, T. Yeack, And Roberts Get Farmers Cup Wins At Willamette

Lebanon, Oregon- Racing got back underway at Willamette Speedway on Saturday, September 15th, for Protect The Crops/Thank A Farmer Night. Six cars were on the card including Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets.
Dustin Cady, of Albany, found his way back to victory lane. It is the sixth occasion he has done so in the IMCA Modified division and is now tied for the most triumphs in the class. Crawfordsville’s Tom Yeack is now a three-time Sportsman winner at Willamette this season. Gresham native Kevin Roberts collected his third Street Stock victory of the current campaign.
Unfortunately, seven laps into the Super Late Model race a wreck on the backstretch would occur which severed several safety cables. With a lot to clean up and limited time, due to a strictly enforced curfew, track officials made the decision to cancel the rest of the night’s racing. The Super Late Model race was not deemed complete and both the Hornet and Super Sport features were not ran. These three main events will not be made up.
The final race of 2018 is Saturday, September 22nd, for Championship Night presented by Les Schwab Tire Center. It will be an all hands on deck night with all seven staple classes in attendance. Divisions include the Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, Super Sports, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets.
For Saturday Front Gates open at 3:00 PM with Racing around 6:00. Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Junior/Military/Senior $10.00, Youth (6-12) $5.00, 5 and Under FREE, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00.
