Lebanon, Oregon- After a disappointing rain out last weekend Willamette Speedway is anxious to get back to racing this Saturday and Sunday. Saturday, June 16th, will be Fan Appreciation Night hosting the Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, Sportsman, Street Stock, and Hornet divisions. Sunday, the 17th, will have the 18th Annual Father’s Day Tuff Truck and Trash Car show.

Fan Appreciation Night is one of the most popular events on the schedule because it is one of the few times that we park all cars in the pit area onto the race tracks for our awesome fans to get up close and personal with our drivers. Several teams will have apparel for sale, hero cards to handout, and are always up for signing autographs/posing for pictures.

Casey Vitale is the man to beat in the Super Late Model ranks. He has won the last two races and will look to make it three in a row come Saturday. Single race winners include Joey Tanner and Rob Mayea.

In IMCA Modified competition Collen Winebarger leads the win column with four visits to victory lane. Three other drivers have one triumph to their credit. They are Bricen James, Dustin Cady, and John Campos. In the IMCA Sport Mods Jorddon Braaten has recorded three wins while Justin McCreadie and Mike Medel have one victory each.

In the Sportsman division there has yet to be a repeat winner. Steve Piefer, James Slover, Tom Yeack, and most recently Ryan Emry have all graced victory lane. In the Street Stocks the only multi-main event victor is Kyle Yeack, with two triumphs. Drivers who have parked it on the front stretch once are Kevin Roberts, Collen Winebarger, Dakota Godard, and Justin Evans.

Lastly, the Hornets have had four races with just as many winners. Josh Corley, Matt Diller, James Donaldson, and Eddie Farness are the lucky four at this point. We shall see if that trend will continue once the checkered flag drops on Saturday night.

Saturday the Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing at 6:00. On Sunday Gates open at 11:00 AM with the Show starting at 1:00 PM.

Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Junior/Military/Senior $10.00, Youth (6-12) $5.00, 5 and Under FREE, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00. Tickets can be purchased online at www.pnwdirtracing.com . For more information log on to www.trophymotorsports.com.
