Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway would open up the 2018 Strawberry Cup weekend on Friday, June 1st, with their first Fast Friday of the year. IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sport Mods would fill the pit area. Even though there weren't too many classes in action they would put on some terrific racing in front of the crowd.

Albany's Bricen James would score his first IMCA Modified win of the season. John Campos, of Keizer, came across the wire in second over third finishing Collen Winebarger, from Corbett. Brett James, Bricen's older brother and also of Albany, ended his evening in fourth followed by Oregon City's Jeff Lovell, in fifth.

Jorddon Braaten, out of Central Point, would record his third IMCA Sport Mod victory of 2018 at Willamette Speedway. Medford's Mike Medel was the runner while grabbing third was Phoenix teenager Justin McCreadie. Kevin Keller and Daniel Ray, of Springfield, completed the top five finishing fourth and fifth respectively.

Willamette Speedway returns to racing on Saturday, June 2nd, for the prestigious Strawberry Cup presented by Bar S Motorsports. Division on the card include Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and IMCA Stock Cars.

Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing at 6:00. Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Junior/Military/Senior $10.00, Youth (6-12) $5.00, 5 and Under FREE, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00. Tickets can be purchased online at www.pnwdirtracing.com .

On Sunday, June 3rd the Kage Karts will have their second race of the 2018 campaign and is being billed as the Mini Strawberry Cup presented by Bar S Motorsports. Pit Gates open at 9:00 AM, Pit Meeting at 11:30, Hot Laps at Noon. Grandstand Admission is FREE and Pit Passes are $15.00. Entry fees for Money Classes are $40.00 while Trophy Classes are $35.00.
