Lebanon, Oregon- After taking a weekend off from racing on the 1/3-mile clay oval Willamette Speedway was back at it on Saturday, September 16th. The event would be billed as Protect The Crop/Thank A Farmer Night. All six regular classes were in attendance including the Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets.

Brian Cronk would get the job done in the Super Late Model division. It would be the first time of the season in the Late Models for the Portland native after several trips to victory lane in the Street Stocks earlier in the campaign. Corbett's Collen Winebarger once again emerged victorious in the IMCA Modifieds. It marked the second Mod win of the season for Collen but his eighth overall at Willamette.

Chris Mott, of Salem, parked it in the winner's circle for the third occasion in the Super Sports. Ryan Emry returned to his winning ways in the Sportsman classification. It is the seventh win for the Corvallis cauffeur.

Jesse Yankee would be triumphant for the first time this season in the Street Stocks. Yankee, out of the Mulino area, is the eight different winner in the class in 2017. Travis Koch would make the rare trip south from Vancouver, Washington and managed to best the field in the Hornet ranks.

Willamette Speedway will be in action one final time this season and that is going to be the Beer Cup/Championship Night on Saturday, September 23rd. All six staple divisions will be on the card including Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets.

Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing at 6:00. Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Junior/Military/Senior $10.00, Youth (6-12) $5.00, 5 and Under FREE, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00. For more information log on to www.trophymotorsports.com.
