Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway would host a full card of racing on Saturday, August 19th. The historic 1/3-mile clay oval would have the Big Sky Landscaping Modified Nationals and the Great American Hornet Challenge, presented by AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care of Newport, Corvallis, and Lebanon. Classes in action were of course the IMCA Modifieds and Hornets as well as the Super Sports, Street Stocks, and the last minute added IMCA Sport Mods.

Grey Ferrando would best the field in the IMCA Modifieds to win the innaugural Big Sky Landscaping Modified Nationals. It is the first win at Willamette in 2017 for the Stayton native. It would also go down as the first career "big money" Mod race that Grey has won.

T.J. Wegner continued his decorated campaign with his victory in the Hornet division. Wegner is the second different winner in as many years of the Great American Hornet Challenge. He has several wins at Sunset Speedway Park already this season.

Jordan Wright would hop in Dan Deibele's Super Sport and piloted the vessel to victory. It was the second occasion that the Toledo driver has won at Willamette this year and is the eighth overall victory for Deibele's team.

Andrew Langan would once again park it in victory lane in the Street Stocks. The Jasper driver has done so twice this year. Jorddon Braaten, of Central Point, would get the job done in the IMCA Sport Mods and is his second win at Willamette in 2017.

Willamette Speedway returns on Saturday, August 26th, for St. Jude's Children Hospital Night. Classes on the card include IMCA Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Hornets, and Dwarf Cars.

Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing at 6:00. Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Junior/Military/Senior $10.00, Youth (6-12) $5.00, 5 and Under FREE, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00. For more information log on to www.trophymotorsports.com.
