Saturday July 22nd Event Next For Willamette

Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway returns to racing on Saturday, July 22nd. After an action packed Shriner’s Cup the cars and stars of the historic 1/3-mile clay oval are excited to get back to it. Classes that will be in action include the Super Late Models, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets.
Collen Winebarger is still the driver that has won more than once in 2017. Winebarger has amassed three trips to victory lane, including last weekend. Bricen James, Joey Tanner, and Darren Coffell are single race winners.
The Sportsman class has only seen one repeat winner this season. The James Slover has two wins while there is a long list of drivers that have picked up one thus far. Chad Slover, Jeff Rash, Jeff Titus, Ryan Emry, and Sandy Sanders all comprise of those who have visited the winner’s circle once.
While the Sportsman ranks have had a lot of different winners the Street Stocks are the complete opposite. Brian Cronk has racked up three wins over his father David’s two. Keven Roberts and Kyle Yeack have managed to win just a single time.
Finally, in the Hornets the domination of Tracy Muse was finally broken up last weekend. Muse has won four times in six starts. John Gartner and the most recent driver to best the field, Sam Potter, have one win each.
