Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway would be in action on Saturday, July 15th, for the Mid-Season Championship Night/Shriner's Cup. The night would feature a full pit area with all six regular divisions on hand. The six staple classes were the Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets.

Collen Winebarger made his return to victory lane after a number of weeks absence in the Super Late Model division. It is the third occasion that he has won in the class. He still remains as the only driver to have won more than once this season.

In the IMCA Modifieds the division still has yet to see a repeat winner. Brian Thompson, from Sweet Home, would best the field for the first time this year. It would be a huge win for the team after an incredibly successful Speedweek about a month ago.

In the Super Sports the Dan Deibele team would once again grace the winner's circle. Albany's Brian Smith would once again get behind the wheel. Smith would make it five wins for the team in 2017 once the checkered flag dropped.

After coming so very close a handful of times this season Ryan Emry would finally get his first win of the campaign. The Corvallis driver became the fifth different driver to win this season.

Despite not running much at Willamette this year Kyle Yeack managed to find his way back to victory lane after finishing first in the Street Stocks. Yeack is the fourth different victor in the division.

Last but not least the Hornets would see a long winning streak come to an end. Monmouth's Sam Potter was the one to finally beat out Tracy Muse. It is the first win of 2017 for Potter.

Willamette Speedway returns to racing on Saturday, July 22nd. Super Late Models, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets are all on the card.

Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing at 6:00. Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Junior/Military/Senior $10.00, Youth (6-12) $5.00, 5 and Under FREE, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00. For more information log on to www.trophymotorsports.com.
