Lebanon, Oregon- With the Wild West Modified Shootout still in town the IMCA Sport Mods would still be on hand playing the role as the support class. Thirteen cars would fill the pits on Friday, June 30th at the historic 1/3-mile clay oval. Drivers from Oregon and California would comprise the field.

Yuba City, California’s Todd Cooper grabbed the initial lead but the yellow flag would come out before the first lap would be completed. On the second attempt at getting a lap in Jorddon Braaten got out front. Braaten, from Central Point, would blaze the trail the entire distance to earn the victory and breaking up the win streak of Brian Cooper. It was his first win since Friday night at Siskiyou Motor Speedway in Yreka, California.

Yuba City, California driver Jimmy Ford would finish a respectable second over Brian Cooper, who is also from Yuba City. Pittsburg, California’s Keith Brown Jr. would end the night fourth followed by Art Hiatt, of Eugene, in fifth.

The IMCA Sport Mods will be in action for the final night of the Wild West Modified Shootout on Saturday, July 1st, as the support class. Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing at 6:00.
