2016 Clair Cup Payout and Format

This weekend is the 2016 Clair Cup Late Model Race this weekend. We will be running a regular Willamette Speedway Format on Saturday Night, the Sunday night format can be found below.
All Pit passes for the weekend will be $30. The Late Model Entry Fee is $80.00 for Car and Driver per Day or $120.00 if racing both days

2016 Clair Cup Sunday Format

• Drivers will pull a pill upon entry of the race track. Any driver failing to draw a pill will start at the back of both heats and receive finishing points only, they will NOT receive passing points.

• Dual heat races will be ran and lined up off of pill draw. The first heat will be ran straight up and the second heat will be inverted. Drivers will accumulate passing points (ASCS PASSING POINT STRUCTURE) which will be used to line up the mains, as follows: Point ties will be decided by your finishing position Saturday night.

• The top 8 in points will redraw for the top 8 main event starting positions. 9th-12th in points will be locked into the A Main and will start in positions 9-12 based on their point total.

• Depending on car count, there may be 1-3 b mains. B Mains will be lined up off of heat race points. The number of cars transferring from the b mains will vary depending on how many cars are locked in from the heats.
1st and 2nd from Saturday’s main event will receive provisionals being locked into the A main event to start no further back that 13th & 14th positions.

• There will then be a short LCQ to transfer 2 more cars to the A main. If 3 b mains are needed there will not be an LCQ
Ties in points will be broken by Saturday’s main event finish
