Lebanon, Oregon- With the 2015 season quickly winding down Willamette Speedway only has a few events remaining on the calendar. Saturday September 19th is St. Jude Night presented by Columbia Distributing. Classes in action include the Super Dirt Late Models, IMCA Modifeids, Sportsman, and Street Stocks. A charity auction with several cool items from local drivers will be taking place with all the money raised going directly to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital.

Rob Mayea has some momentum swinging in his favor in the Super Dirt Late Models. Mayea won his fifth victory of the season last week. Brian Cronk is looking to bounce back and capture his first career Late Model championship at the historic 1/3-mile clay oval. Mayea has a twenty-six point lead with two races to go.

Collen Winebarger will hope to wrap up his IMCA Modified title up after Saturday night. This is the first Mod race at Willamette since August 22nd. Drivers will be chomping at the bit to get back at it.

Sandy Sanders also has an opportunity to clinch the Sportsman title with a strong performance. But keep an eye out for the likes of Jeff Rash and Tom Yeack as those two drivers hope to obtain yet another win.

Kyle Yeack has been the guy to beat in the Street Stocks. Can he get his eleventh Street Stock win? We shall see but the odds are in his favor. Yeack won the big Modified show up at Banks last week and the week before that won another big Mod show at River City Speedway in St. Helens. He already has ten Willamette wins in 2015. Bill Allison has the comfort of a two-hundred plus point lead.

Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Juniors/Military (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
