Willamette Speedway would host Armed Forces Remembrance Night on Saturday September 12th. A strong car count was present including a very good showing of Street Stocks in the pit area. Classes on the card were Super Dirt Late Models, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks.

Rob Mayea is on quite the streak of good runs lately. He continued it Saturday by winning his fifth Super Dirt Late Model feature. It is the third win in his last six Willamette starts. The driver of the J&S Farms/Cornett Racing Engines #37 Rocket now leads the main event tally in 2015 for the division.

Brian Smith found his way to victory lane. Smith was the winner in the Super Sport race, the first time since July 11th. It was the fifth victory for the  Knothole Market/Pratnum Co-Op/Hanson Automotive Machine/James Gang Pizza #99 Rayburn team.

Also back in victory lane after a bit of an absence was Tom Yeack in the Sportsman. The Crawfordsville veteran won his fourth feature of the campaign in his Cascade Outdoor Power Equipment/Unlimited Business Service #49 Pro. Yeack's last win was back on May 30th.

Finally a first time winner would emerge in the Street Stock ranks, Talyn Roberts. The Gresham teenager would win her first career race after so many top five finishes. Earlier in the season Brian Cronk had ran the Talyn's number for points and got the win. Keep a close eye out for the Big Sky Landscaping/Powers Transport/Gray's Automotive #T3 Camaro entry.

Willamette Speedway will host St. Jude Night on Saturday September 19th. The Super Dirt Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Sportsman, and Street Stocks will all be racing. Be sure and make it out as there are only two races left on the 1/3-mile.

Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Juniors/Military (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
