2015 has been a fantastic season for Brian Cronk of Portland. He has the most wins at Willamette Speedway in the Super Dirt Late Models and currently is the points leader. Coming off of the Mid-Season Championship victory last Saturday he enters the Crocker's Cars Firecracker 100 as one of the drivers to beat.

“It's been an awesome year it's by far best year I've ever had in Late Model!” said Cronk, “I couldn't have asked for a better one and we've only finished outside the top three once.”

Cronk swept the Clair Cup weekend earlier in the season back in late May. Brian has a lot of positive momentum headed into this Saturday in his Metro Services/Gassner Trucking/Dog Lover's Gold Dog Food/Northwest Gas Lines #29 Rocket. He also would like to thank his grandfather, Mike Cronk, for helping him out this year. His strategy headed into this weekend?

“I think the main thing is going to be tire management and keeping the car together,” continued Cronk, “you have to be very smooth and one hundred laps is a long distance.”

The winner Saturday night will receive at least $1,500.00 and the race will be $200.00 to start. The pay out is based on twenty cars but if for some reason less the twenty cars start that money will be added to the winner's prize money. Don't forget that a massive fireworks display will cap the whole night off.
