Willamette Speedway would host their annual Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday June 27th. Highoctane Die Cast would also put on their extremely popular Car Of Stars promotion for the fans. All five regular classes were in action at the historical 1/3-mile clay oval including the Super Dirt Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks.

Although he had been victorious at Cottage Grove and Coos Bay earlier in the year Justin Duty had yet to win at Willamette this year. That statistic would be changed on Saturday as the Molalla teenager would park his Don Frank Flooring/Mid Ohio Graphics/Metro Services/Big Sky Landscaping #15 Rocket in victory lane.

Making his way back to winner's circle after a bit of an absence was Dustin Cady of Albany in the IMCA Modifieds. Driving the Drager Performance/Frank's Fab & Auto of Brownsville/D.K. Davenport Trucking #6M GRT it would be his second win of 2015.

Albany's Brian Smith would find his way back to victory lane also in the Super Sports. Smith got his third win in his Knothole Market/Pratnum Co-Op/Hanson Automotive Machine/James Gang Pizza #99 Rayburn entry.

Sandy Sanders from Junction City would get the job done in the Sportsman ranks. Sander, chauffeuring his Royalty Homes #43 Avenger, picked up up fourth win of the campaign but the fifth occasion his car has won. Kevin Williamson drove it to victory earlier in the year.

Finally last but not least it would be a huge victory in the Street Stocks for teenager Talyn Roberts of Gresham. After coming so close so many time she would finally win her first career race in the Big Sky Landscaping/Powers Transport/Grays Automotive #T3 Camaro.

The next event for Willamette is the Speedweek Northwest date on Thursday July 2nd. This event will feature the Western Sprint Tour 360 Sprints which are the best in the Pacific Northwest.
