Although he is from the state of Califronia, Travis Peery will be making the incredibly long journey from Williston, North Dakota to compete in the 2015 Wild West IMCA Modified Shootout. Peery, originally from Fort Jones, California, is excited to get back to Pacific Coast to revisit some familiar race tracks.

“I'm really excited to see all of my buddies for Speedweek,” commented Peery, “every time I head out there it is like coming home. Whether it's a track in Washington, Oregon, or California it's great.”

Travis has been quite busy in his Dennis Peery Trucking/Susan River Reality/Winzer by Paul Cooper/E&M Services #6P Pro. He has participated in eighteen races over the course of last nine weeks racing on average two or three events a weekend. He visited victory lane a handful of time this year including a triumph at Williston Basin Speedway on May 30th.

“The started real good wit three wins in the last few months,” he would continue, “but with the way the IMCA format works with point averages it's tough to win because you go to a race with fifty cars out here and thirty of them could win.”

Last year Travis Peery won the opening leg of the 2014 Wild West Modified Speedweek on July 19th for his one and only career Mod Speedweek win. But something to note is his success in years past at Siskiyou Motor Speedway in Yreka, California, where he is a three-time track champion at that venue, and Southern Oregon Speedway where he has been a champion just once.

The 2015 Wild West Modified Shootout kicks off at Southern Oregon Speedway on Saturday June 13th. The tour will wrap things up at Willamette Speedway on the 19th and 20th to close the speedweek out for the second straight year. Teams from Oregon, Washington, California, North Dakota, Montana, and British Columbia Canada are expected to make the journey.

All races will be broadcasted through Speed Shift TV and you can either purchase each race for $19.95 or buy the whole week for $99.95. Orders can be made onhttp://www.speedshifttv.com. Be sure and don't miss out on these great races featuring the best Modified drivers in the Pacific Northwest region.
