Northwest Extreme Late Model Series Invades Willamette Speedway On Saturday May 30th

Lebanon, Oregon- The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series is coming off of a very busy weekend at Sunset Speedway Park last Saturday and Sunday. This Saturday May 30th they will make their only visit to Willamette Speedway in 2015. It's going to be a weekend of excitement that you do not want to miss out on.

Dave Walters heads into the event as the point leader and picked up his first career win with the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series on Saturday May 23rd. He has an eleven point advantage over Ron Brewster. Brewster has yet to win a main event this season but he has shown a lot of speed throughout the campaign.

Joey Tanner still leads the win list this year with two main event victories, which came in the first two races of the season. Dave Walters and Jason Johnson were winners in last weekend's Spring Challenge presented by 98.7 The Bull in Banks.

The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series has visited the Willamette Speedway a total of thirteen times since 2010 four of which have been co-sanctioned with the Super Dirt Late Models. In fact the first race in the tour’s history was hosted at the facility on April 24th, 2010.

In those thirteen races there have been seven different winners with five of them winning on more than one occasion. Jason Wines has the most series wins with a total of three while Jerry Schram, Greg Walters, Russ Sell, and Trevor Glaser have each won twice. Rob Mayea and Collen Winebarger are the only drivers to have won once with the organization when it has visited Willamette.

Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
