Lebanon, Oregon- One of the most prestigious races of the whole season will take place at Willamette Speedway this weekend. The annual Clair Cup is ran in honor of the late Clair Arnold who was the longtime owner and operator of the historic 1/3-mile clay oval. On Friday May 22nd there will be a Test N' Tune practice while racing on Saturday the 23rd is the Super Dirt Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks. All classes will return on Sunday the 24th except for the IMCA Modifieds.

The Test N' Tune on Friday will last from 4:00 PM to Dusk. Folks wanting to watch from the grandstands is FREE but Pit Passes are $15.00 each and the Car & Driver fee is $30.00.

In the Super Dirt Late Models there have been three races with three different winners. Trevor Glaser, Rob Mayea, and John Duty have all had success in 2015. Will a new face emerge victorious during the course of the weekend?

Collen Winebarger won his second IMCA Modified event of the campaign with his win last Saturday becoming the first multi-feature winner in the division. He will look for his third win on Saturday. Dustin Cady is the only other main event winner this season with one trip to victory lane.

The Super Sports have had four races with four different winners. Brian Smith, Chris Mott, Randy Barley, and Gil Pickett have managed to score wins. Will the trend continue or will there finally be a repeat winner?

The same case can be made for the Sportsman as they have had five different winners in as many events. Sandy Sanders, Dennis Archer, Tom Yeack, Jeff Rash, and Kevin Williamson are 2015 winners. Williamson chauffeured Sandy Sanders' mount to victory lane last week so technically it's five different winners in four different cars.

Finally Justin Evans still leads the Street Stocks win chart with three victories in the current campaign. Steve Jorgensen and Bricen James have one win each. Will Evans make it back to victory lane?

Saturday and Sunday the Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for each night are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
