Mikey Burnham Makes Willamette Street Stock Debut At Fight Hunger Night

Lebanon, Oregon- The Street Stock class at Willamette Speedway will be gaining an additional driver this Saturday May 2nd. That driver is Mikey Burnham of Lebanon. Burnham can't wait to get back to track to make his first race since July of last year.
“I'm really excited to be racing again,” said Burnham, “I planned to make it out for the first race but the car was having transmission issues.”
Mikey will be piloting the Sureflow Concrete Pumping Services/Santiam Hobbies/Finders Keepers Inc./Cornwell Tools/Rebekha's Barber Shop/Parsons Motorsports #15 Camaro. He also would like to send special thanks to some special people that helped it all possible.
“I really have to say thanks to my mom and dad as well as Jessica Stewart, Jayden Stewart, and Danny Altom.”
Burnham started just four races last season in the Street Stocks. His best result was a seventh place finish on July 2nd. He plans to be racing a lot more in 2015 so look for more top tens and top fives from his this year.
“I'm going to take it race by race and might bounce around to some different tracks but if we are doing really well in the points at Willamette I'll stick around here.”
In addition to Street Stocks there will be Super Dirt Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, and Sportsman racing at Willamette Speedway. Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
Being that it is Fight Hunger Night for folks that bring a can of non-perishable food will receive a discount of $2.00 off their admission.For more information log on to www.trophymotorsports.com and click “Track Info”.
