Kart Race #7 Set For Friday August 1st; Live Broadcast To Be Aired

Lebanon, Oregon- For the seventh time in 2014 the Karts will be in action at Willamette Speedway. Already the year has been fantastic and the Friday August 1st event will no doubt continue that trend. It’s also very important track time for these teams as the Summer Sizzle Tour is near.
Also this event will host a live broadcast over Spreaker radio. The show is expected to get underway around 6:30-45 PM and links to the audio will be found at http://www.spreaker.com/show/willamette-kart-race-7 .
In the Pee Wee division Jayden Trupp has won five out of six races with Trevor Grimes the only other winner. Austin Sause has been perfect in 5HP Intermediate action while Carter Patterson leads the win total in the 5HP Open with four. Skyler Winebarger and Benjamin Silliker have one each in 5HP Open action.
In the Speedway Karts the Rookie division has been Jerry Fonfara’s playground accumulating four wins in five starts. Jayden Kimball has two wins while the Junior 1-2 ranks has witnessed Calia Mott finish on top four times and Chloe Fonfara once. In the Adult class Jonathan Brown has three wins, Melissa Aicher two, and Dylan Snyder just one.
The 125cc have had an interesting year, Kyle Roles and Connor Hanson are level at three wins each in 2014. In the 250cc ranks it’s a three-way tie for the most victories this season with Kyle Cormican, Tyler Thompson, and Eric Scofield scoring two wins each. Finally in the Open Kage Bricen James has an impressive four wins while Kyle Alberding and Brendan Waterman have one visit to victory lane each.
General admission to the Friday Kart race will be FREE of charge. Pit Passes are $10.00 and Car and Driver fees will be $30.00. The Pit Gate will open up around 4:00 PM and Racing is scheduled to begin around 6:30.
