Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway will be busy this week with the American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region in action on Wednesday July 3rd and the Fireworks Spectacular on Saturday the 6th. The support class on Wednesday will be the IMCA Modifieds while Saturday will feature a one hundred lap DIRTcar Super Late Model event along with IMCA Modifieds and Sportsman.

The ASCS-Northwest Region have visited Willamette Speedway once this year already and put on one heck of a show. Kyle Hirst was the winner of that event back in late May. Wednesday’s program will be presented by the fine folks at Shriner’s.

The IMCA Modifieds have had eight races with eight different winners this year. That list of winners comprise of Kyle Yeack, Jeffery Rivers, Dustin Dittman, Craig Cassell, Mark Carrell, Jesse Williamson, Alex Stanford, and last week’s winner Brody Pompe. Will this amazing trend continue or will someone finally win his second race of the campaign.

The 2013 season has been dominated by Trevor Glaser who has won six races in nine starts. Last week’s victor Russ Sell is the only other driver to win more than one feature when he picked up the Topless Showdown triumph. Joey Tanner, who won the first race of the year, has just one win this season.

In the Sportsman ranks Todd Miller and Brian Smith are tied for most wins this year. Drivers with just one win include Phil Housworth, Brian Brown, Brian Goetz, Clyde Rood, and Jeff Marson.

Start times on Wednesday will be regular except that opening ceremonies are scheduled to get started around 6:30 PM. Tickets are $17.00 for Adults, $13.00 for Seniors/Juniors (13-18)/Military, Youths (6-12) $7.00, Children (5 and Under) FREE, and Family Passes (Two Adults and up to Four Youths) will be $40.00.

Ticket prices for July 6th will be $15.00 for Adults, $13.00 for Seniors/Juniors/Military, Youths $7.00, and Family Passes (Two Adults and up to Four Youths) will be $40.00. Pit gates will open at 1:00 PM, front gates 3:30 PM, and racing should be getting started around 6:00 PM.

The Willamette Speedway has operated since the 1960’s and is a facility where high car counts and great racing are the norm. The venue will hosts weekly action comprising of DIRTcar Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Sportsman, Super Sports, Street Stocks, and Mini Trucks.
