WIild Wild West Modified Shootout Information

The Wild Wild West Modified Shootout returns to Willamette on Tuesday June 18th. This will feature the best IMCA Modified drivers on the Pacific Coast taking on local competition. The Sportsman division will be the support class and both divisions will be racing for track points. In Wild Wild West Modified Shootout action Brian Poppa won the first race in 2011 while in 2012 Ken Schrader was the victor.
Tickets for Tuesday are Adults/Seniors/Juniors (13-17)/Military are $8.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, Children 5 and Under FREE, and a whole CAR LOAD will get you into the races for $25.00. Racing is expected to get underway right around 6:30 PM.
Each race will be $1,000.00 to win and $100.00 to start (full payout and format is listed below). Payout will be done each night after all the races are complete. Entry fees are $80.00 per race and Pit Passes will be $30.00. 2013 IMCA Rules, INCLUDING 2013 PHASE IN RULES, will apply at all tracks and the tire phase in rule has been extended due to so many rain outs. This will make both the Hoosier G-60 and American Racer KK704 both legal tires.

2013 Wild Wild West Modified Shootout Format
Heat races will be lined up by pill draw. We will run duel heats. Round one will be lined up straight up; Round two is inverted from the start of round one. Points will be awarded for finish position as well as passing points in each heat race.
Top 12 in points after heats are locked into the main. Top 10 in points will participate in a drawing on front straightaway for starting position.
We will not run a trophy dash.
There will be two B mains that will transfer 2 cars from each. Each B main will be 15 laps.
We will run 1 LCQ with the remaining cars and transfer 2 to the A main.
Each track will have two “promoter provisional” to fill the 20 car feature.
A mains will be 35 laps.
