Lebanon, Oregon- The Willamette Speedway will be quite the busy place in the next few days. The 1/3-mile clay oval will have three events in four days spanning from Saturday June 15th to Tuesday the 18th. Don’t miss out on the great action to take place at this wonderful facility.

Everything starts off on Saturday June 15th for the eighth race of 2013. The DIRTcar Super Late Models, Super Sports, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Mini Trucks will be all on the card. On Sunday the 16th the annual Fathers Day Tuff Truck and Trash Car competition will return for what always is a thrilling event. And on Tuesday the 18th the Wild Wild West Modified Shootout comes into town for the best IMCA Modified racing you can find anywhere. The Sportsman division will be the support class on Tuesday night.

So far this year defending track champion Trevor Glaser has won the most main events in the DIRTcar Super Late Model ranks. With a total of four wins he is the only driver to visit victory lane on more than one occasion. Joey Tanner and Russ Sell are the only two drivers to have beaten Glaser in 2013 each with just a single victory.

Steve Moore became the most recent winner in Super Sport action becoming the fourth different winner in five races. Joining Moore in the win column is Gil Pickett, who has won a total of two races, while drivers with just a single victory are Bob Jeffrey and Brian Smith.

The Sportsman division has been highly competitive this year. Todd Miller so far is the only driver to win twice in 2013. Drivers earning feature winner trophies on just one occasion include Clyde Rood, Jeff Marson, and most recently Phil Housworth.

This season has been a wonderful year for the Street Stocks. David Cronk leads the win column with three victories but teenager Bricen James earned his second triumph of the campaign last week. Justin Evans is the only driver in the division with just a single trip to the winner’s circle.

The Mini Truck division has been dominated by the contingent from Crook County. Don Croy has a total of three wins now after last week while teammate Kenny Keefer has just one.

Saturday the pit gates will open at 1:00 PM, front gates 3:30 PM, and racing should be getting started around 6:00 PM. Admission prices are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $12.00, Youths (12 and Under) $6.00, Family Pass (Two Adults and Up To Four Youths) $35.00, and Pit Passes are $25.00.

Sunday June 16th will be the annual Fathers Day Tuff Truck and Trash Car competition. This is always a fun event to bring the family to and always produces some wonderful entertainment. Tickets for Sunday are $10.00 for Adults/Seniors/Military, $6.00 for Youths (12 and Under), and $15.00 for Pit Passes. Entry fees for Tuff Trucks are $30.00 and $25.00 for Trash Cars. The Wild Wild West Modified Shootout returns to Willamette on Tuesday June 18th. This will feature the best IMCA Modified drivers on the Pacific Coast taking on local competition. The Sportsman division will be the support class and both divisions will be racing for track points.

The IMCA Modifieds are the only classification yet to see a driver win twice. In six races there have been six different winners. That win list is a very impressive one being made up of Mark Carrell, Kyle Yeack, Jeffrey Rivers, Dustin Dittman, Jesse Williamson, and Craig Cassell. Tickets for Tuesday are Adults/Seniors/Juniors (13-17)/Military are $8.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, Children 5 and Under FREE, and a whole CAR LOAD will get you into the races for $25.00.
