Willamette Speedway Cancels May 18th Event

Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway regrets to inform the fans that the race for Saturday May 18th has been lost to rain. The grounds were too wet due to the inclement weather and prevented any action from taking place at the historic 1/3-mile clay oval. Next weekend will have a full weekend of racing.
Saturday May 25th and Sunday the 26th will have the return of the annual Clair Cup. Classes that will be in action for both nights include the DIRTcar Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks. The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series will also be on hand to take on the DIRTcar Late Model compeititon.
On both days the pit gate will open at 1:00 PM, front gates 3:30 PM, and racing should be getting started around 6:00 PM. Admission prices on both nights are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $12.00, Youths (12 and Under) $6.00, Family Pass (Two Adults and Up To Four Youths) $35.00, and Pit Passes are $25.00.
The Willamette Speedway has operated since the 1960’s and is a facility where high car counts and great racing are the norm. The venue will hosts weekly action comprising of DIRTcar Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Sportsman, Super Sports, Street Stocks, and Mini Trucks.
