Karts Will Open Up Racing Weekend

Lebanon, Oregon- Before the 1/3-mile action gets started at Willamette Speedway this coming weekend the Karts will get thing started Friday April 19th. Fans that have not seen a Kart race before are really missing out. Countless drivers have graduated out of the Kart ranks to have very successful racing careers.
“This is going to be a great show,” commented Chris Nofziger, General Manager of Willamette Speedway, “the track should be fast and smooth all night long.”
A large contingent of drivers is expected to be in action Friday. The Karts will be back in action next Friday on April 26th and May 10th. If for any reason there is a rain out that information will immediately posted on both our website and Facebook page.
General admission to the Friday Kart race event will be FREE of charge. Pit Passes are $10.00 and Car and Driver fees will be $30.00. The pit gates open up around 4:00 PM and racing is scheduled to begin around 6:45.
The Willamette Speedway is proud to provide an outlet for their future stars in the Kart program.
