Things to Remember in Order to Enter the Pits
- White pants or coveralls highly recommended.
- No one under the age of 14 may enter the pits
- Anyone 14-17 must have a notarized minor’s release (available at the office) prior to entering the pits at the beginning of each race season. Minor’s release (not notarized) is required each race day the minor enters the pit area.
- After providing the office with the minor’s release, at least one parent or guardian must accompany minor into the pit area each race attended.
- Pit men are not allowed on the track during a race except on a red flag (2 pit men only)
- Show your pit pass each time you enter the pits (each location) especially at the flag stand. Time is important so don’t make the flagman have to ask.
- Never go to another pit spot in anger. This will reflect on your driver.
- Never be in or on a race car as a passenger.
- Use your ATV only as necessary and keep your speed down. ATV’s are not there to visit from one pit spot to the other.
- Get an ATV pass at the pit gate.
- Watch your back. Never lose sight of the fact that cars are entering and exiting the track, and carelessness on your part can result in injury or death to you or others.
- Never, never approach the flag box during a race. This also reflects on your driver. The driver will be listened to after the race.
- You may not purchase or consume alcohol prior to purchasing or while you have a pit pass. Anyone found to be consuming or purchasing alcohol with a pit pass will forfeit their pass immediately.
