2009 Mud Class Rules

MISSION

To assist in the track preparation for timely and faster racing, and to have fun, too!

THE CAR

Should be safe and dependable, and free from loose trim and parts.

All glass removed except front windshield.

Use only race tires.

Seat belt, helmet and long sleeves required. Other safety gear optional but recommended.

Good runners, please: the whole idea is to get the track condition in racing order!

You may do all the props and ads you wish, just keep it clean and neat.

DRIVERS

This will not be a paint to pass or derby time: any careless or destructive driving will be dealt with zero tolerance: only clean fun or no play!

Drivers must be 16 years of age. The only exception will be for current underage drivers with existing signed and notarized agreements. This is an insurance rule.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The track staff run the event, so you must pay attention to the flags and the staff at all times: a black rolled flag means go back to the pits!

Each Mud Car will receive one complimentary (no charge) pit pass per night.
